By booking a trip with us or using our website www.sitbacktrips.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Booking and payment

• Reservations: To secure your booking, a deposit of 20% is required at the time of reservation. Full payment must be made 30 days before the start of the trip/lesson/booking/event, unless otherwise agreed upon.

• Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, TWINT, link sent by our office. All transactions are processed securely, and your personal data is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• Confirmation: Once your booking and payment are complete, you will receive a confirmation email with the trip details and any necessary information regarding the itinerary, meeting point, and preparation.

2. Cancellation policy

​

• By the Client:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the planned trip/lesson/booking/event are eligible for a 80% refund of the total cost.

  • Cancellations made after 7 days before the planned trip/lesson/booking/event are non-refundable.

  • In the event of no-shows or last-minute cancellations, no refund will be issued.

• By SitBack Trips & Events:

  • We reserve the right to cancel or modify the trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the trip.

  • We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred due to the cancellation, such as airfare, hotel bookings, or other travel arrangements.

 

3. Changes in itinerary

• We will make every effort to operate trips as advertised. However, we reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, local circumstances, or events beyond our control. If changes are necessary, we will inform you promptly and provide alternatives where possible.

 

4. Guides and conduct​

​

• Guides: All trips are conducted by experienced and knowledgeable guides who prioritise safety and strive to deliver an enjoyable experience. Guides reserve the right to make decisions in the best interest of the group and may adjust activities or itineraries as needed for safety or logistical reasons.

• Client Responsibilities: You are expected to follow the guide's instructions and adhere to the local laws and customs during the trip. Failure to comply with these rules may result in your removal from the tour without a refund.

• Fitness and Health: Some trips may require a certain level of fitness. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically capable of participating in the trip’s activities. Please consult with us beforehand if you have any concerns about health or fitness requirements.

 

5. Liability and insurance​

• SitBack Trips&Events acts solely as an agent in arranging transportation, accommodation, guides, and other services related to your trip/event. While we take care to work with reliable partners, we are not responsible for any acts, omissions, or accidents involving third parties.

• Insurance: We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss of personal belongings.

• Liability Waiver: By participating in any trip/lesson organised by SitBack Trips&Events, you acknowledge and accept that outdoor activities carry inherent risks. You agree to release and hold harmless SitBack Trips&Events and its employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability for injury, illness, damage, or loss sustained during the trip.

 

6. Force Majeure​

We are not responsible for any delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, strikes, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the trip or provide a refund, depending on the circumstances.

7. Photography and Media

By participating in our trips, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed, and you grant SitBack Trips&Events permission to use such media for promotional purposes on our website, social media, or marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in advance.
